Having spent most of last season playing without a recognised striker, Manchester City will be looking to get Haaland up to speed quickly. His record at Borussia Dortmund suggests he will be able to do so. He scored 62 goals in 67 appearances in the Bundesliga while notching 15 goals in 13 European matches. With a record like this, it is no wonder managers are excited about his prospects at one of the most attacking teams in the Premier League.

However, it is worth noting that his injury record has seen him miss extended spells throughout his still incredibly young career. This could make some managers nervous about such a young prospect making the jump to the Premier League. But with fixtures against the likes of Bournemouth (H), Newcastle (A) and Nottingham Forest (H) in their first five fixtures, FPL managers shouldn’t be too afraid to risk big money on the Norwegian striker.

Despite starting last season with just one goal in his first fifteen games, Harry Kane still finished the season as the top-scoring forward, finishing with an impressive 192 points. With an entire pre-season under his belt this year and an influx of new signings at Spurs, Kane could be in for his biggest season yet. A huge boon will be that Conte can continue to build on the form of his attacking lineup of Kane, Son and Kulusevski.

Much has been made about Kane being a player who starts seasons slowly. But remember that in the most recent season, a transfer saga involving himself and a potential transfer to Manchester City fell through, accounting for his poor early season form. So with a clear mind and transfers being made to strengthen all across the Spurs team, Kane could see now as the perfect time to push his team further up the table.
