Best of Fantasy Premier League Twitter Gameweek 13

Welcome to another edition of Best of Fantasy Premier League Twitter. I hope your Gameweek 12 went well and you found your path to glory without the ever-reliable Manchester City and Arsenal squad members.

Gameweek 13 sees all 20 Premier League sides back in action and raring to go. Manchester City will be reeling from losing to Liverpool as they host Brighton at the Etihad this weekend. Arsenal will hope to continue their winning ways and stay firmly at the top of the league as they travel to the sometimes tricky fixture of Southampton away.

Luckily there hasn’t been much to note regarding injury news in Gameweek 12, so the majority of your squad should be available and ready to deliver some bulk points.

We have a short turnaround between Gameweek 12 and 13, so let’s get started.

Phil Foden – Priority Transfer

This week, a big question for many managers is who they should prioritise transferring in, Foden or Saka?

Both are young English International players and have played themselves into some top form this season.

Manchester City have been on fire this season and Foden has been heavily involved at scoring end. With 3 of the next 4 fixtures at home, it is hard to look past the classy youngster.

Manchester City Home Dominance

Following on from the above, I wanted to highlight just how dominant this Manchester City team has been at Home. They have scored 24 Goals across 5 matches (just under an average of 5 goals per match!) with 22 Big Chances being created in that period. Absolute dominance.

As mentioned earlier, 3 of the 4 upcoming fixtures for Manchester City are home matches.

Don’t forget to change your captaincy back to Haaland!

Kepa Arrizabalaga Revival

If you have followed the Premier League for the last few seasons then you would know that Kepa has had some infamous incidents. Whether it be disobeying the coaches substitution orders or failing to stop some routine shots from ending up in the back of the net, Kepa has had a tumultous time at Chelsea.

However, Graham Potter instantly made Kepa his main man in goal when arriving at the club, showing confidence in the £71.6 million signing and his ability to use his feet to play out from the back. He has kept 3 clean sheets in a row and earned 24 points for his troubles.

At the current price of £4.5, he could provide superb value going forward.

Upcoming Fixtures

One of our favourite content creaters, FPL Focal, has kindly provided a fixture tracker from now until the World Cup break.

Crystal Palace, Manchester City & Arsenal are three main teams I would like to call out from this graphic. I believe they have the combination of form and fixtures to be successful over this run and in turn, help your FPL team to succeed. The main players I would consider are:

Manchester City: Haaland, Cancelo, Foden

Arsenal: Martinelli, Gabriel, Saka, Jesus

Crystal Palace: Zaha, Andersen, Guehi, Guaita
