Best of Fantasy Premier League Twitter — Gameweek 3

We’re back again with another edition of Best of Fantasy Premier League Twitter. We serve up all the critical bits of information from the FPL Twitter world and sort through the important stuff from the not-so-important to help you be successful and dominate your mini-league.

Why spend hours combing through the tweets when we’ve prepared the summary for you?

Remember to give the authors a follow if you found the information helpful!

Darwin Replacement

FPL managers and Liverpool fans were excited to start the season and see Darwin bang in a few goals. But, unfortunately, he didn’t get the memo and has gone and banged into a defender’s face with his head! Now the silly man has 3 weeks on the sidelines to think about what he’s done after receiving a red card and being given his marching orders for his outburst.

BigManBakar outlines why it might be a great time to change to Gabriel Jesus if you don’t have the Arsenal star already

Salah Captaincy

Shameless plug for myself here but I’ve prepared an analysis on why Salah should have your captain armband this week.

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you might know that Manchester United have been struggling lately! After beating United 4-0 & 5-0 in their two meetings last year, Salah looks set to repeat his heroics and put some easy ones away against the Red Devils.

One to Watch – Rodrigo

Rodrigo has got off to a flyer this season, scoring 3 goals in the opening 2 gameweeks for Leeds United. He seems to have found his role under manager Jesse Marsch who took over the team during last season and helped them avoid relegation.

At a current price of £6.1m, it’s a low risk move that could pay off big time!

Ben Dinnery Injury Update

PL is not only about choosing who is most likely to score a goal or keep a clean sheet in any given week, it also includes needing to be aware of who will run out on the pitch each weekend!

Ben Dinnery luckily is the resident ‘Injury Analyst’ for FPL managers and provides weekly updates on Who’s In and Who’s Out. We see below that Ben has reported Aston Villa’s central defender Diego Carlos will miss the remainder of the year, making Aston Villa’s defensive player less appealing. He also goes on to mention that Patrick Bamford from Leeds shouldn’t be on the sidelines too long with his latest injury troubles.

Price Rises

If you haven’t noticed, player prices can change daily. This is caused by the selling and buying of players like a stock market. Here we see a few of the price changes that occurred this week to some high-performing Arsenal players

Must Own Players

We’re a couple weeks into the new season and teams are showing what they’ve been training for in their time off. We have seen some fantastic performances and pretty average performances (ahem..Manchester United).

FPL Steve gives his take on which players he considers to be ‘Must-Own’ and who you should consider to transfer in if you don’t have them already.
